Nikolai Søndergaard · International Business Operations & GTM
I build the operating systems
that let technology companies
actually ship.
I create operating cadences, automate workflows, and translate business intent into developer-ready requirements. A decade across regulated fintech, AI startups, and cross-border teams. Based between the Bay Area, Copenhagen, and Mexico City.

How I think about work
Patterns I keep coming back to after a decade of building across fintech, AI startups, and international teams.
Ship, measure, then strategize.
Most companies don't have a strategy problem. They have an execution problem. I set up the cadence, sprint boundaries, and feedback loops that make progress the default, not the exception. The strategy becomes clear once you're moving.
Automate the work nobody should be doing.
I build AI and agentic workflows that remove repetitive, low-value work from people's plates. LLM pipelines, content automation, business intelligence. At one startup, this cut inference costs by 37% while improving accuracy to 95%.
International is a strength, not a complication.
Five languages, three continents, teams spanning Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Distributed operations done deliberately creates access and resilience that co-located teams simply cannot match.
GTM is an operations discipline.
Go-to-market isn't a launch event. It's partnerships, localization, channel expansion, and market entry executed week by week. I've taken products from isolated technology to live, paying users in new markets.
Where I've done this
International teams across Asia, Europe, and North America. Early-stage builds, regulated environments, and everything in between.
